1. Wrap Xbox in towel (and risk burning down your house).
2. Open up box and perform complicated soldering (the kind of soldering that tech labs need a $35,000 machine for)
I thought: “This is stupid.”
And I was right. Because my friend Matt told me about a “Verified Third Option” for fixing my Xbox 360.

Perhaps it was a blessing that all these sites and methods failed me, because it forced me to keep looking around for a way to fix my Xbox 360. Eventually, I found just what I was looking for.
